Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and organized Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring that products are readily available for customers. Duties
- Receive and unload shipments of merchandise from suppliers.
- Organize and stock shelves with products, ensuring proper placement and visibility.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control processes.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move products as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including packaging items for distribution.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in locating products when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and meet store goals.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or stock management is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and helpful demeanor.
