What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer position at East Longmeadow Public Schools?

The Role: We are looking for qualified candidates who are certified by the National Athletic Trainer's Association and who have experience:
- Performing the role of a certified athletic trainer.
- Providing athletic injury prevention, recognition and management.
- Maintaining an accurate log of injuries, treatments and medical data.
- Providing health-related staff development sessions for coaches.
- Maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other staff members.
- Coordinating and administering online concussion testing.
- Utilizing the Family ID online platform.
- Communicating with student-athletes and their parents.
