What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Substitute - 7th Grade Social Studies Teacher position at East Longmeadow Public Schools?

The Role: Birchland Park is looking for a long-term substitute for a 7th grade Social Studies class. This would cover a paternity leave from April 14th- May 23rd. The ideal candidate would be certified in social studies or have some experience in teaching and able to follow standards-based lesson plans. Birchland Park is a community oriented middle school that looks to make school a positive experience as well as an academically engaging one. We are looking for a candidate that can contribute to this and enjoys working with middle school-aged students!
