We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background GENERAL SCIENCE AND / OR BIOLOGY. PA Instructional Certification required for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Teach 8th grade General Science
- Utilize learning technology to facilitate interactive learning experiences and enhance student understanding.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and dissections, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with fellow educators on curriculum development and educational strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Participate in education administration tasks as needed, including maintaining accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in science education and pedagogy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education / General Science.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementing innovative teaching strategies.
- Proficiency in using learning technology tools to enhance classroom instruction.
- Excellent proofreading skills for creating clear and concise educational materials.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students, families, and colleagues effectively.
