What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook/Food Service Agent for Extended School Year Program (ESY) position at East Montpelier Elementary School?
WCUUSD seeks a Cook/Food Service Agent for the ESY summer program. The Cook/Food Service Agent is responsible for menu planning, ordering and inventory of food and supplies, food preparation and service, maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen, program finances, and abiding by all state and federal school food services guidelines, including nutrition and sanitation. The successful candidate will design healthy and appealing meals and have a demonstrated love of children and promoting their health and wellbeing through nutritious lunches and breakfasts.
The Cook/Food Service Agent is required to be present for the duration of the program from July
7 – August 1, four days per week (Mon-Thurs) and 8:00-2:00 each day.
This is a temporary position and only for the time period specified.
