Job description
A health care consulting entity is looking for a Clinical Risk Manager to join our dynamic team of professionals. The position works in partnership with leadership in supporting the organization's objective of enhancing safe, compassionate and quality care, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as minimizing loss to the organization. The successful candidate must have a strong clinical background and prior Risk Management experience.
Specific duties of the Clinical Risk Manager, include but are not limited to the following:
Review and analysis of all incoming occurrence reports for regulatory and insurance concerns
Conduct clinical analysis of occurrences to determine next steps of requisite follow up
Conduct root cause analysis investigations
Serve as a risk management resource to all clinical/support departments.
Coordinate risk management educational programs
Investigate complex clinical resident complaints/ethical questions
Qualifications include:
Masters preferred
CPHRM preferred
5 Plus years Risk Management experience
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication, problem solving and organizational skills
Computer literacy
Salary Commensurate with experience
