About This Job
As a Maintenance Technician for Recycling Equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our recycling center. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, rebuilding, troubleshooting, and installing recycling equipment and systems.
You will also be required to rebuild hydraulic cylinders up to 4 1/2 feet, weld carbon and stainless steel, perform some rigging of hoists, and operate mobile equipment. Additionally, you will maintain regular attendance and be able to work mandatory overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, rebuild, troubleshoot, and install recycling equipment and systems
- Rebuild hydraulic cylinders up to 4 1/2 feet
- Some rigging of hoists
- Operates mobile equipment
- Maintains regular attendance
- Ability to work mandatory overtime
- Performs other duties as requested by Management
Qualifications
- Strong hydraulic knowledge required
- Ability to weld carbon and stainless steel
- Ability to use a heating and cutting torch
- Ability to operate a plasma cutter
- Must be able to operate mobile equipment
- Team player and the ability to work with others
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
