Overview
East Penn is currently seeking a Process Engineer to interface with East Penn’s engineering, quality, and manufacturing departments to develop and monitor process and product efficiencies.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Setting up, monitoring, troubleshooting, problem solving, documenting, improving, data collection, and occasionally repairing of new and existing processes, controls, and equipment.
The Process Engineer possesses the responsibility and authority to make determinations on non-conforming products and materials, which in certain cases may require a stoppage of production or shipment.
The Process Engineer possesses the responsibility and authority to:
*Maintains regular attendance.
*Ability to work mandatory over time.Performs other duties as requested.Responsible for producing a high quality product.Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.
Qualifications
Troubleshooting, problem solving, analytical thinking, good communications skills, literate (must understand schematics, specifications, reports, etc.), computer skills, mechanically inclined, must have thorough understanding of electrical principles, must be self motivated, math skills (algebra, trigonometry, statistics), well organized, must be safety minded, people skills, technical writing, understanding of physics, occasional heavy lifting.
