Position Title: Porter (Part Time)
Overview: The Porter is responsible for the general upkeep of the community by cleaning and preparing areas for residents and guests.
Essential Duties:
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Dust mopping and damp mopping floors, vacuum carpet areas, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms including sinks, tubs and commodes.
- Collect trash in all areas of the facility.
- Complete project work including but not limited to stripping and refinishing, carpet shampooing, wall washing, window cleaning, pressure cleaning, car washing, etc.
- Completing event setups when needed
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
- Previous experience in floor care is preferable, but on-site training is provided.
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal work instructions.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments in order to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to function with minimum supervision.
- Part-time positions may not be eligible for certain benefits.
