Temporary Meter / Relay Assistant (500 Hour)

Join our team at East River Electric Power Cooperative! We are seeking a temporary Meter / Relay Assistant to join our substation team. In this collaborative environment, you'll have the chance to learn from experienced professionals while gaining hands-on experience in relay and automation technologies. This position is eligible to work up to 500 hours.

What You'll Accomplish

• Perform installation, maintenance, modification to and testing of SCADA control, fiber, revenue metering, and RTU circuitry.
• Assist with the electrical check-out and functionality of substation equipment, control circuits, and ancillary equipment.
• Document all maintenance activities and repairs in a clear and organized manner.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to our safety culture.
