Extended School Year Special Education Teacher

Program Overview:

This is a CSE-determined service that is used to prevent substantial regression for students.

Implement NYS ELA and Mathematics curriculum
Provide highly engaging and effective instruction in a condensed scheduling format
Plan and facilitate lessons
Track and report student progress.

Program Dates:

July 7-August 15, 2025 (Monday-Friday)
Four hours per day, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Includes 30 minutes of planning per day
Four hours of planning between June 30-July 3

Job Qualifications

Requirements:

New York State Certification
Dual certification is desirable
Knowledge of NYS curriculum and assessments
