High School ELA Credit Recovery Teacher
Program Overview: This program aims to create an opportunity for students to recover course credit for their HS English credit. Enrollment in this credit recovery program will allow students to enroll in the BOCES credit recovery program and enroll in BOCES summer school for two additional credit recovery opportunities.
- For students entering grades 9-12
- In Person, 6 Weeks
- Four (4) days per week
- Two and a half (2.5) hours per day, 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- Student Contact Hours: 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- Planning Time: 12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Duties: Implement NYS ELA curriculum in a credit recovery format using synchronous and asynchronous learning models to maximize flexibility in terms of alignment with other BOCES credit recovery courses the students may be enrolled in, provide a highly engaging and practical instruction in a condensed scheduling format, plan and facilitate lessons and track and report student progress.
