Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated classroom teacher to join our Child Care team. This position is responsible for creating a nurturing environment for children, implements age-appropriate learning activities, and works collaboratively with families and staff to support each child's development. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives in our diverse community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Creates a nurturing environment for children
- Implements age-appropriate learning activities
- Supervises assistant teachers, aides, and children
- Develops and executes weekly curriculum
- Observes and assess children's needs and abilities
- Conducts parent-teacher conferences and maintains daily communication with families
- Maintains accurate records and adheres to DHS Rule 3 requirements
