What are the responsibilities and job description for the Alarm Systems Monitor/Dispatcher position at East Texas Alarm, Inc.?
We are a family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1965. We are looking for an alarm dispatch operator to work in our Central Station. We are hiring two full time positions, working 40 hours per week, evenings and weekends, with the option to occasionally work overtime. Paid training is provided Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for approx. 5 weeks, before moving to the above mentioned shifts. This position involves processing alarm signals using automated software, providing customer service while answering phones (with the ability to screen and prioritize calls) and data entry. Successful candidates will be reliable, mature, detail oriented, well-spoken and able to handle multi-tasking, while working under pressure. We are looking for long term employees.
