As a Diesel Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our heavy truck fleet. About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires prolonged periods of standing and walking. You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and visually inspect machines. Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs routine maintenance inspections and service on diesel engines and heavy trucks.
- Repairs and replaces damaged or worn-out parts as needed.
- Cleans and lubricates moving parts to ensure effective performance.
- Records and reports any issues or problems encountered during maintenance or repair.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
