Regional Sales Manager

East Trailers, LLC in Portage County, Ohio is currently seeking two (2) Full-Time Regional Sales Managers for their growing facility. East is a manufacturer of Flatbeds, Drop-Deck, Dump, and Refuse Trailers, as well as aluminum bodies for the commercial vehicle industry. Our products are manufactured with the customer in mind and designed to maximize payload, strength, and durability, meeting the needs of various trailer applications. East trailers have a long-standing reputation of higher resale value due to our use of lightweight and long-lasting components.

Our ideal candidates will be experienced sales minded individuals who are self-motivated and target driven. The first salesperson will be on-site at our location in Kent, OH, with local travel required. The second sales manager opportunity will be fully remote and will service the East coast. Both incumbents will be responsible for building our book of business, by pro-actively discerning client needs, selling aluminum and steel truck bodies, and providing exceptional customer experiences.

A high school diploma or GED is required for this position, with preference given to those with a related bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude along with the ability to understand technical specifications and features of trucks and trailer bodies. Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills are essential to this role. Knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry is required and Class 8 truck sales experience is preferred. Regular travel is required and is expected to be 60%, but may fluctuate based on business needs.

Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job, including but not limited to: drive, travel by plane, use a computer and telephone, read, hear, see, talk with mouth, bend, stoop, crawl under trailers on hands and knees, climb ladders, and other essential functions as determined by the employer.
