Pulmonary practice seeking a full time back office medical assistant with a team- approach attitude, outgoing and friendly personality, and a caring bed side manner. We desire someone who has a professional demeanor, is reliable, and has excellent written and verbal skills. We cross train for front and back office duties and expect flexibility and multi-tasking abilities with great attention to detail and accuracy. Position requires the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Vitals - Rooming Patients
- Patient Histories
- EMR Charting, Prepping charts
- Allergy Injections - Immunotherapy
- Drawing up injections
- Patient Education on medications
- Performing Walking Tests
- Prescription Refills
- Telephone Triage and patient call backs
- Faxing, Scanning, and EMR uploads
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Back office experience, Pulmonary a plus
- EMR Proficiency - Greenway: Primesuite
- Excellent Patient Relationship Skills
- Attention to Detail - Sense of Teamwork
- Excellent Multi-tasking Skills
- Experience in a fast paced environment
- Strong Work ethic and Reliability
- Stable job history
- Friendly, professional and courteous demeanor Education
- Must have graduated from an accredited medical assistant program
- Medical Assisting: 2 years (Preferred)
