Pharmacy Assistant/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently processing transactions. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and medical terminology, making it essential for those with experience in patient care or pharmacy settings.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
• Accurately process transactions using the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit card payments.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy products, including medications and medical supplies, to assist customers effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and procedures during the checkout process.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals to support patient care initiatives.
• Assist in managing inventory levels by restocking shelves and organizing products as needed.
• Address customer inquiries regarding medications, including IV infusion options and acute care treatments.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization at the cashier station to enhance the shopping experience.

Skills

• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and medical terminology is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
