Job Description
The Substance Use Disorder Counselor plays a vital role in our patients' treatment and recovery journey. As a key member of our counseling team, you will provide guidance, support, and therapy to individuals struggling with addiction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Facilitate group and family sessions to foster a sense of community and support.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide crisis intervention and case management services to patients in need.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Master's degree in social or health services field.
- Prior experience in an addiction recovery and/or MAT environment.
- One of the following licenses/certifications: CAC, CAS, CADAC, CRC, LADC, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT.
