Job Title: Substance Use Disorder Counselor
We are seeking a qualified Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at East Wareham Comprehensive Treatment Center. As a key member of our outpatient program, you will provide essential support and guidance to patients struggling with opioid use disorder.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Foster a supportive group environment through facilitation of group and family sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide crisis intervention and case management services when necessary.
Education and Experience
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A Master's degree in social or health services field.
- Prior experience working in an addiction recovery and/or MAT environment.
- Current licensure/certification in one of the following areas: CAC, CAS, CADAC, CRC, LADC, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT.
