East West Staffing, Inc. (EWS) is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician/ Assembly Operator. This position will involve setting up, maintaining and operating microelectronic assembly equipment, including die and wafer processing.
Requirements of the Manufacturing Technician/ Assembly Operator
- Associates degree in a technical field or a minimum 3 years of related electronic/semiconductor assembly experience.
- The ability to operate independently and proactively to address issues and pay close attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Functional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
- Ability to push items of up to 100 lbs. and lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended period of times on hard surfaces.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Technician/ Assembly Operator
- Implements recommended enhancements to product and process flows and follows prescribed procedures to troubleshoot process and equipment related issues.
- Operation of manual, automatic, and semi-automatic microelectronics assembly equipment with supervision.
- Inspection of die and packages to various Military and Jedec standards using high and low power microscopes.
- Follows defined specifications and reaction paths or written/verbal instruction.
- Use multiple hand tools to manually process delicate products without damaging components.
- Quality Assurance-level inspection responsibilities.
- Must be able to discriminate between high quality standard parts and parts with marginal quality.
- Good hand eye coordination and ability to manipulate small tools and parts is required.
- Position involves use of keyboard and interaction with multiple computer systems and production equipment interfaces.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
