OSP Project Coordinator

East West Staffing, Inc. is seeking an Outside Plant Supervisor.

Responsibilities of the Outside Plant Supervisor

• Ability to follow OSHA/State/Local Safety Standards
• Record daily activities in construction inspector journal
• Perform site surveys of as-built and proposed projects and complete red-line documentation
• Identify unsafe actions performed by contractor, record/report to the crew Supervisor
• Provide guidance on engineered construction prints
• Perform construction inspections for quality control
• Generate As-Built records, by hand or in digital format
• Identify and record deficiencies
• Effectively communicate corrective actions to subcontractor
• Operate test equipment as needed to verify optical and RF power levels are set as designed
• Prepare work orders to resolve any element in the plant that does not meet specifications
• Communicate with Project Manager or designated Supervisor regarding concerns about construction progress
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills
• Ability to perform job from high places (i.e. poles, ladders, and roofs)
• Ability to work while standing 50-70% of the time

Requirements of the Outside Plant Supervisor

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Knowledge of N.E.C and N.E.S. C. for communications for outside plant and construction practice and inside and around buildings
• Strong knowledge of RUS construction standards
• Specialized training includes construction experience or engineering
• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external customers.
• Working knowledge of safe construction practices used in building aerial and underground communications networks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
