Sales Intern

East West Tea Company’s Sales Internship program is for motivated college students who are interested in the Consumer Packaging Goods industry.  EWTC Interns are paid to gain real world work experience with the guidance of top industry professionals.  We are searching for a talented, passionate Sales Intern to our join our 11-12-week, traveling Summer Internship and serve as a valued resources to help us make a real difference and deliver on our mission.

WHAT YOU WILL GET FROM THIS INTERNSHIP          

The 11-12-week, paid Sales Internship program is an introduction to a sales career in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry. You will develop your knowledge and understanding of the CPG industry, be exposed to real world challenges, multiple channels of business, and develop your selling and communications skills. You will work alongside of talented CPG professionals and experience firsthand how our team engages in sales, sales planning, data analytics, broker management, category management, omni channel and field work. You will invest in meaningful work assignments designed to provide perspective and practical work experience, as well as sharing experiential insights to East West Tea Company at the end your internship.

WHAT YOUR INTERN EXPERIENCE WILL LOOK LIKE

• Work with a cross section of sales team members to gain exposure to all Channels and facets of our business and sales process
• Participate in broker meetings and distributor representative meetings
• Engage in various customer calls in the field, and attend an annual review meeting and a major National Account customer meeting
• Experience a variety of retail field-related work
• Work on a project that offers ideas, solutions, or a different perspective to EWTC and present during final week in the Eugene, OR corporate office

• Self-starter with skills to manage projects and present/provide insights
• Ability to interact in a positive, confident, and professional manner at all levels
• Competently use computers including Microsoft Office Suite and other software systems

OUR INTERNS WILL HAVE 

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Marketing, Communications, Data or Business Analytics with spring of 2025 graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Involvement in various leadership experiences through university, extra-curricular activities, organizations, clubs, sports teams, or employment
• The ability to start at the end of your semester and work full-time for 11-12-weeks
• Able to travel weekly throughout the 11-12-week period to various cities
