Facility Maintenance

• Oversee equipment maintenance equipment maintenance programs.
• Provide technical support for all equipment.
• Provide training for equipment as necessary.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Oversee building and grounds issues including, but not limited to new construction, remodeling, lighting, power, HVAC, sewer, water, zoning issues, etc.
• Control regular and hazardous waste material disposal.
• Purchase and control material and equipment for maintenance.
• Serve as consultant to engineering on mechanical issues as needed.
• Design and build special equipment, fixturing and tooling for in-plant use.
• Work with engineers on mechanical design issues.
• Troubleshoot process problems as needed.
• Be available at all times to deal with listed job tasks as needed.
• Manage custodial personnel.
• Maintain shop and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Job Experience

• On-the-job training on the operation, servicing and repair of appropriate equipment.
• On-the-job training on the unique aspects of the building and the electrical service, water system, sewer system and HVAC units.

• Must have efficient troubleshooting methodology, be safety conscious and have the ability to be a team player.
• Minimum of five years experience in performing the majority of the listed job tasks.
