Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | Aspinwall
- Start Date: April 7th, but flexible for the right fit
- Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm; Guaranteed 40 hours/week
- Hourly Rate: $28-32
- Children: 4-month-old
- Pets: One large dog and one cat
- Paid Vacation: One week family’s choice, one week nanny’s choice, 3 sick/personal days, all major holidays
- Up-To-Date Vaccinations, including Flu and Tdap Required
Responsibilities and Duties
WHO/WHAT: No “Manic Mondays” for you with these glorious four-day workweeks! These sweet first-time parents seek a playful, caring, and confident infant-experienced nanny to be a complete collaborator for years to come! You’ll work Tuesday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm taking phenomenal care of an intelligent four-month-old and his two furry best friends. As the nanny of this happy boy you will comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide his naps. You’ll show the happy fellow how the mouse ran up the clock…singing and tickling him to Hickory Dickory Dock. Advanced for his age and highly observant, you’ll engage the infant with creative activities for optimal development and milestone successes. While the baby sleeps, you’ll help with his laundry, wash bottles, restock the nursery supplies, vacuum, sweep, general light tidying up, and pet care. There is a Newfoundland dog and a cat who thinks he’s a dog. They’ll want to hang out with you, too, and will need fresh food and water, (plus backyard bathroom breaks for the big girl). Please have your own vehicle for emergencies and eventually, you might have to drive but never too far. A desire for longevity is key as the family intends for this role to last for at least three years. We’re hoping to find you quickly for an April start so these parents can return to the office. Requirements and Benefits
Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record
Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
