Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Franklin Park

Start Date : March 24th
Hours : Monday & Tuesday, 7 am to 6 pm; Thursday & Friday 7 am to 5 pm; would appreciate help on occasional Wednesdays; Guaranteed 42 hours / week
Hourly Rate : $25-32
Children : 2-month-old
Pets : One Cat
Paid Vacation : One week family’s choice, one week nanny’s choice, 3 sick / personal days, all major holidays

Responsibilities and Duties

WHO / WHAT : Are you a caring, trustworthy, infant-experienced nanny who wants a midweek day off? With this sweet family of three, you can have Wednesdays free! These new parents have demanding careers with long hours and want to partner with a loving nanny who’ll become a constant in their infant daughter’s first years. You’ll always start at 7 am, ending at 6 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, and 5 pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Mom works from home two days per week, but you’ll barely notice she’s there, and Grandma helps out on Wednesdays, though occasional Wednesday coverage would be appreciated for weeks that she can’t make it. This long-term role is heavily centered around a happy two-month-old little lady. A chronic cuddler, she adores being held, and you’ll do plenty of it. You’ll also comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide all naps. While the sweet pea is coasting through dreamland, you’ll help with her laundry, wash bottles, sweep, vacuum, restock the nursery, and assist with general tidying up. Fitting in with the other laid-back family members in the home, there’s a moderately friendly cat who won’t need any care. This role is intended to last for at least a year and ideally until the young lady heads off to preschool. The family is open to local outings as she grows older, so you will eventually need to drive using your own vehicle. For the first few months though—as trust builds—you’ll hang close to home. The Ideal Nanny IS…LOVING! You have experience with infants, you’re patient, kind, and with plenty of common sense. Like so many first-time parents, Mom and Dad are cautious and will need some time trust-building with you before solo outings. They will also lean on your expertise to stay organized and help them establish sustainable routines. You’re also reliable, punctual, and intend to remain for at least a year and hopefully more! Requirements and Benefits

Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
