Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | Upper St. Clair
- Start Date : ASAP
- Hours : ideally Tuesday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm; Guaranteed 24 hours / week; flexible for other days of the week for the right fit
- Hourly Rate : $24-28
- Children : 2-year-old and a 10-month-old
- Pets : 2 Lab mixes and a senior cat
- Paid Vacation : One week nanny’s choice, one week family’s choice, 2-3 major holidays
Responsibilities and Duties
WHO / WHAT : No one would describe you as “fair-weather” because you’re 1) fiercely loyal, and 2) adore being outdoors, regardless of the conditions! We’re urgently seeking a hands-on nanny for a long-term position supporting an adventurous, ski-loving bunch. Dad works from home in a separate office, and Mom will be working out of the home. Any three days will do, but ideally, you’ll work Tuesday to Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm (or 9 to 5). First, there’s two-year-old big brother who loves to race cars outside. His 10-month-old baby sister is his number one cheerleader; she’s already demonstrating a talent for chalk art. There are two friendly labs who’ll tag along for backyard play and a senior cat who can’t wait to have the house to himself. Everyone naps, and that’s when you’ll help out with the children’s laundry, washing bottles, vacuuming, sweeping, and general tidying up. This neighborhood is very walkable, but for trips to museums and the zoo, you will need to occasionally drive using your own vehicle. There are allergies to nuts, eggs, and mangos, and Mom and Dad make every effort to keep foods organic and non-toxic. We’re confident this family will treat their nanny with kindness and respect in a role that’s intended to last for at least four years. Requirements and Benefits
