Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Do you seem to have a holistic remedy up your sleeve for just about everything that ails you? Are you a clean lifestyle enthusiast who prefers to read about nutrition-rich organic recipes vs. drama-filled social media posts? Two warm, health-centric professionals are looking for an intuitive and attentive nanny for their cuddly 13-month-old boy. With a three-day workweek that most people could only dream about, your shifts will be 8 am -5 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 7 am - 5 pm on Thursdays. Balanced structure would describe the beat of this fun-loving household. Meals are healthy, however, there’s always room for dessert in moderation! Baby boy has a sleep schedule as a guide -- and you’ll support him to keep it on track -- but his body’s cues may take the lead. The priority will be to surround the little fellow with love and joy. You’ll get belly-laugh-silly together and engage him in sensory-sharpening learning activities. That can be in the form of active play with his Montessori-style toys or by heading outside and teaching through nature. Baby boy has a feisty side and can get grabby with his teacup poodle bestie so uninterrupted supervision is paramount. No pet care is required but your help with the children’s laundry, washing bottles, vacuuming, and sweeping will be greatly appreciated. Currently, you won’t need to drive anywhere but might as the little guy grows older and will do so in your own vehicle. He'll also attend swimming lessons soon, so someone comfortable around water and familiar with water safety precautions would be ideal. This role has no end in sight as you’ll play a pivotal part in raising him, and the parents intend on expanding their family in the future. If this sounds like you then make yourself a chamomile tea and apply immediately as we’re ready to move fast once we find the right fit.
The Ideal Nanny IS… A TRAILBLAZER! You’re an independent thinker, fearless to go against the grain and trust your gut over popular thought. You respect others’ decisions and support the parents’ direction but also proactively suggest improvements. Attentive, nurturing, and interactive, you combine your experience (bonus points for Montessori-style learning) with common sense. You’re punctual and reliable, organized but not militant. Comfortable receiving AND giving feedback, your communication is underscored by warmth and openness. This fabulous trio champions medical freedom, holds core family values, and wants a long-term nanny to become part of their family. So if your moral compass is pointing you in this direction we can’t wait to meet you!
