Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with experience in kitchen environments, including hotels and banquet settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Support cooks by preparing simple dishes and assisting with cooking tasks as needed.
- Buss tables and assist with serving food during events or busy service periods.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during meal periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards hospitality and customer service.
