Event Setup Crew

Eastbay Lodge is looking for dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Event Setup and Tear Down Crew. This role is essential in ensuring our events, including weddings, private parties, live music nights, and community gatherings, are set up efficiently and professionally. Crew members will be responsible for preparing event spaces, setting up furniture, décor, and equipment, assisting with audio-visual needs, and breaking down setups after events.

This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a welcoming and well-organized atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:Event Setup:

• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and décor according to event layouts and client specifications.
• Set up outdoor and indoor event spaces, including tents, dance floors, and stages.
• Assist with lighting, sound equipment, and other technical needs for live music and special events.
• Ensure all event materials are clean, presentable, and properly positioned.

Event Support & Maintenance:

• Monitor event spaces throughout the event to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with minor adjustments or changes during events as needed.
• Communicate with event coordinators, management, and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.

Tear Down & Cleanup:

• Dismantle tables, chairs, decorations, and equipment after events.
• Ensure all materials are properly stored and accounted for.
• Clean event spaces, removing trash and ensuring areas are returned to their standard layout.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in event setup, hospitality, or manual labor is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow setup instructions accurately.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from Eastbay Lodge.

Work Environment:

• This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
