Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Lead to join our team. The Sales Lead will oversee daily sales operations, mentor sales associates, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to compliance and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and support sales associates, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
· Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cannabis products, industry trends, and state regulations to educate both staff and customers effectively.
· Oversee inventory management, including restocking products and conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy.
· Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve store targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
· Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations, including verifying customer identification and maintaining accurate sales records.
· Collaborate with management to train new staff members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
Qualifications:
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or related field is a plus.
· Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
· Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
