- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic’s calendar.
- Check patients in and out, verify insurance information, and process payments.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the reception area.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information about the clinic's services.
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Supplement Sales Duties:
- Educate patients about the wellness center’s range of supplements and their benefits.
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate products based on their needs and healthcare provider recommendations.
- Maintain inventory of supplements, including restocking shelves and placing orders as needed.
- Ensure all sales transactions are accurately processed and documented.
- Monitor expiration dates and maintain compliance with quality control standards.
- Stay informed about new supplements and industry trends to provide up-to-date recommendations.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred); additional education or certifications in healthcare administration, nutrition, or wellness is a plus.
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, sales associate, or in a customer-facing role (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Basic knowledge of health and wellness supplements or a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including scheduling software and EHR systems.
