What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Education Teacher Hourly (CDP Math - Part Time) position at EASTCONN?
EASTCONN is now accepting applications for a part-time CDP Math instructor in our Adult Education Program. This position will be based at our Northeast Learning Center location in Danielson, or Community Learning Center in Willimantic, and flexibility to work at multiple sites is preferred.
The successful candidate will assist in the planning of curriculum, have an understanding of the CCRS, have the ability to differentiate instruction, possess successful technology integration experience in the classroom, and be a team player. Prior experience with team teaching, google and flipped classrooms, and video conferencing preferred.
The successful applicant must possess the ability to teach in a positive and supportive manner to a multiracial, multicultural, and multilevel group of participants.
Required : Bachelor's degree or higher plus prior related experience. Certification Requirements : CT 029 (Math 7-12) plus have, or be eligible for, CT 106 (Adult Education High School Credit Diploma).
