What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Aide position at EASTCONN?
EASTCONN's Adult and Community Programs is seeking several part time aides to run activities and provide supervision for elementary aged children at Natchaug Elementary School two afternoons a week during the school year.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and facilitate activities designed for elementary-aged children, ensuring they are educational, fun, and age-appropriate.
- Provide active supervision, maintaining a safe and positive environment.
- Assist with setup and cleanup of activities and spaces.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging participation and positive interactions among children.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents as needed.
