We are seeking a highly motivated attorney to join our team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for various parts of litigating a case, from the inception through case closure. This includes conducting consultations, depositions, court appearances, brief writing, and communicating directly with clients. We primarily practice in civil litigation, in the areas of family law and probate matters, however, we also take a variety of cases involving adult and juvenile criminal matters, and general litigation, including both bench trials and jury trials.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research
- Conduct discovery through depositions, document production, and motion practice
- Review and analyze case matters and provide recommendations
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, and trials
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Michigan state bar
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
