Door and Hardware Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various installation tasks. This role involves working with power tools, interpreting schematics, and executing installations of door astragals and rain drips in a commercial setting. The Installer will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics to understand installation requirements.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform installation tasks efficiently.
• Install single & double door astragals and overhead rain drips to specifications.
• Conduct necessary adjustments and repairs during the installation process.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to prevent accidents and injuries.

Experience

• Proven experience in installation work, preferably in locksmith or door installation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
• Previous experience as a maintenance person or carpenter is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
