Vocational Crew Lead

JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the respective Contract Manager (Landscaping or Janitorial), individual provides hands-on services and supports, on the job training, vocational training, and vocational counseling to assist persons with disabilities in developing career independence.

This is accomplished through cooperation with the individuals Employment Specialist, person-centered planning with the individual and other team members to develop, implement, evaluate, and amend client Individual Service Plan goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following : other duties may also be assigned : Direct Service : Act as an advocate and role model for all individuals served.

Act as a liaison between Easter Seals and the contracts served.

On the job training, assessing skills and successful employment needs for individuals on work crew.

Documentation case notes, flowsheets, incident reports as needed.

Report work / contract related questions / concerns to Contract Manager collaborate on SOW and potential opportunities to capture more revenue, suggesting additional work at sites.

Submit completed work checklists with photos to Contract Manager Support work crew with completing their timecards.

Review Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) for the individuals under your lead and provide on the job services and supports.

Assist in identifying needs for accommodations, adaptive equipment, or technology that may increase opportunities for personal satisfaction and employment Assist in development of the site Complete and turn in required paperwork for each job site, in a timely Work with the Employment Specialist to ensure appropriate Job Coaching training / re- training is provided.

Assist the Director or Contract Manager in the development of individual-employee job descriptions including task analysis for vocational training on specific jobs.

Complete, document and turn in all mandatory Easter Seals / Cal-OSHA / worksite training with crew members annually or as needed.

Pick up / deliver work service contract supplies as Transport clients to work sites and maintain vehicle paperwork to the agency Cross train on all contract work both paid and volunteer to meet the needs of the Attend all Easter Seals Enterprises (ESE) team meetings as scheduled and Comply with privacy laws and requirements under HIPAA regulations and understand the consequences of non-compliance.

Follow all safety procedures as outlined by the Injury, Illness and Prevention Program (IIPP) Safety Manual, OSHA, and Cal-OSHA and understand the consequences of noncompliance.

Provide exceptional customer services, both internally and Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include evenings and weekend.

Typical work hours are Monday through Friday; 7.5 hours per day.

Meetings : Attend and participate in Easter Seals Enterprises staff meetings on a monthly Attend and participate in Case Record Review meetings and other meetings as Coordinate and attend annual and semi-annual meetings to review client's QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Position requires possession of a current valid California driver's license and proof of liability insurance and driving record that meets the agency standards.
