Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to appropriate personnel.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily living activities to promote independence.
- Observe patients for any changes in behavior or condition and document findings accurately.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in patient observation and monitoring to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Ability to prepare meals that cater to spr ecific dietary requirements.
- Knowledge of DD practices and care principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
