We're looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team! In this key position, you will be responsible for driving the recruitment process across a variety of open positions in order to find, hire, and retain qualified candidates to support our organization's recruitment strategy. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be responsible for the following:
- Work closely with Managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms, job fairs, professional networks, Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
- Post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges etc.
- Assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners during the candidate offer process.
- Coordinate with the Onboarding Specialists to ensure a smooth candidate experience, set up onboarding appointments and follow up during the process when necessary.
- Conduct external and internal applicant screening calls and interviews.
- Foster long-term relationships with candidates, past applicants and potential candidates.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate’s Degree and four (4) years’ experience in a recruitment related position or eight (8) years’ experience in a recruitment related position can be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
- Computer proficiency, organizational skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with human service staffing needs preferred.
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation: $56,160 annually. Additional compensation based upon experience and education.
Hours: This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position.
