Program Coordinator
Department: Programs and Risk Management
Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator will work to provide administrative support and project management to the SVP, Programs and Risk Management and the department. The Program Coordinator will ultimately be evaluated on a combination of skills, dispositions and behaviors, some of which are related to the specific service area of this position and others that represent general expectations of all employees.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator’s responsibilities chiefly fall within the following core functions, although s/he may perform other tasks as needed.
- Administrative Support and project management
- Record Keeping and Reporting
- Fiscal Management
- General Staff Responsibilities
- Perform daily administrative duties such as routine duties necessary to assist senior personnel and departmental management
- Develops and uses effective and organized systems to provide successful administrative support of projects and provide it to others as needed.
- Assists in the preparation of meeting agendas and materials, distributes such items in advance to members within agreed upon time frames. Maintain confidentiality and accurately communicates information in minutes, email, memos and other written and verbal correspondence.
- Effectively prioritize projects delegated by a variety of staff and successfully meet expectations and timelines at a high-level quality.
- Maintain the confidentiality of correspondence, documents, discussions, meetings and telephone calls
Record Keeping and Reporting
- File, store and destroy old records as instructed
- Assists in development of policies and procedure for department and managing review process by responsible staff
General Staff Responsibilities
- Participate in staff meetings, conferences, training sessions and workshops as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality in regards to staff and service recipients information
- Perform any other work-related duties as requested by your supervisor
- Be present at work in order to provide consistency of services
- Be a contributory team member in a positive/productive manner
- Demonstrate commitment to mission, values, and policies in the performance of daily duties

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; AA/AS in business or a related field preferred
- Prior experience with office/general administration
- Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
- Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills, using MS Office applications and other basic data systems including internet navigation.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit most of the time with some bending and reaching.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend periodically.
- Ability to engage in repetitive movement of wrists, hands, and fingers – typing and/or writing.
- Ability to work frequently at close visual range (i.e. preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, computer terminal, extensive reading).
- Ability to receive and respond to oral communication.
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Work Environment: Hybrid position

Salary Range: $48,000-$60,000
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
