Do you have a passion for supporting individuals in their recovery journey? Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a Peer Support Services Supervisor to join our team in Wake County. This full-time role provides leadership, oversight, and direct support to Certified Peer Support Specialists, ensuring high-quality services that empower individuals to transition successfully into the community and maintain independent living.
What You’ll Do
The Peer Support Services Supervisor will be direct supervisor to Certified Peer Support Specialist. You will provide leadership and oversight in the implementation of direct services. Meets with staff and leadership to ensure adherence with the fidelity, service definition and scope of work requirements. Provides and/or coordinates training for all members of CPSS prior to services being delivered. The Peer Support Services Supervisor ensures that all required trainings are compliant with the service definition, scope of work, rules, regulations and Easterseals PORT Health policies. Maintaining case records as required by licensing and funder standards and regulations

What We’re Looking For
To join our team, you’ll need to provide oversight, supervision, and training for CPSS staff while ensuring compliance with state service definitions and MCO scope of work. Additional qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) in North Carolina
- Ability to be credentialed as a Mental Health Qualified Professional (QP)
- Possesses knowledge of the CPSS role and work, as well as understand the principles and philosophy of recovery and the code of ethics of the NC Peer Support Specialist Certification Program
- Must have documented supervisory experience
- Experience providing tenancy support services to adults with mental health & substance use challenges
- Knowledge of community housing resources
- Possesses current, unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
