Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for adjunct Medical Assisting Instructors on the Palm Bay Campus and Cocoa Campus, for Spring 2025.Salary & Benefit Position Concept Minimum QualificationsThe following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered :
- High School Diploma or GED.Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred.
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- Current AHA BLS for the Healthcare Provider (CPR / AED) certification.
- Experience in ambulatory care with both clinical and administrative medical assistant duties.
- Experience in phlebotomy, EKG's, knowledge in pharmacology concepts, and drug administration of is a must.
- Must be flexible between the Cocoa and Palm Bay campuses.
- Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator's license required.For individuals unable to obtain a driver's license, a valid Florida ID is required.Employees and / or volunteers unable to obtain a Florida driver's license, will not be allowed to drive any college vehicle, golf cart or any other motorized vehicle on college property.
- This position will require successful fingerprinting and substance screening.The candidate chosen will be required to pay the associated fees (currently $36.00 / $62.16).The fingerprinting and substance screening fees ($36.00 / $62.16) are non-refundable.
