5th Grade Teacher (25-26)

Eastern Greene Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year.

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching licensure preferred.
• Interest in sponsoring/coaching extra-curricular activities preferred.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Enthusiasm for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Job Goal:

• To provide high-quality instruction aligned to Indiana Academic Standards in a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
• To support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students through differentiated instruction and meaningful relationships.
• To contribute to the continued excellence and growth of Eastern Greene Middle School’s educational programming.

• Maintain high standards as a role model, both in and out of the classroom, while advocating the skills, mission, and objectives of the school and district
• Deliver effective, standards-based instruction in person
• Integrate technology into daily instruction and support digital learning as needed
• Foster good citizenship, fairness, and integrity in the classroom community
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Collaborate across grade levels and content areas to enrich student learning
• Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
