Extra Help Bowling Maintenance

Position Summary:

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a part-time Extra Help Bowling Maintenance position in EIU Bowling Lanes. This position will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of bowling equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adjustments and repairs of automatic pinsetting machines and related bowling equipment.
• Adjust and test relays, solenoids, transformers, electric motors, and wiring for defects.
• Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components or parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain inventory records. Assist with supply orders.
• Provide assistance with special events such as league nights, bowling classes, and parties.

Minimum Qualifications:

• General understanding of mechanical components.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a bowling lane mechanic.

Salary: $28.00 to $32.00/hr.
