Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuing Education, Program Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of project management methodologies, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
With a direct reporting relationship to the Director of (Continuing Education) CE Programs, the individual in this position performs a variety of duties related to the delivery of Continuing Education Program Management in the areas assigned: Safety, Motorcycle, Auto-dealer continuing education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or other specialized equivalent education within the CE Program area(s) of focus.
- Must have at least five years project and/or program management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to organize data, work independently and meet deadlines, and work accurately under pressure.
- Ability to communicate and relate well with faculty, administrators, students and the general public is critical.
- At least one year of supervisory experience or experience successfully leading teams.
- Must possess computer proficiency using various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite Applications. Experience with Enrollment Management Software systems helpful.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification(s) to demonstrate proficiency in subject matter area(s) in area of responsibility.
- Ability to instruct classes/courses in subject matter area of responsibility if needed.
- Demonstration of project management proficiency.
- Demonstration of sales abilities/experience.
- Previous experience working in higher education institutions.
Physical Demands: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Prolonged periods standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Salary$51,000 - $ 66,500 Annually, Starting Salary Commensurate with Experience
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
A. Day to Day Management of CE Program(s) (65 %)
- Develop training proposals and contracts in ways that support optimal coordination with internal and external customers and support of content experts. (20 %)
- Manage training schedules and provide administrative support to instructors to address student, class, and scheduling needs, including handling registration, budget and coordination with appropriate departments and offices of the college. (25 %)
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise and evaluate instructors to meet CE goals. (15 %)
- Maintain records of equipment, activities and business interactions. (5 %)
- Build knowledge of and follow applicable CE and credit program standards. (ongoing)
B. Enhance CE Program(s) (35%)
- Use LERN and other appropriate tools, benchmarks, and formulas to determine pricing, evaluate current offerings, and develop new courses/programs and proposals. (10%)
- Use LERN and other appropriate tools to monitor and analyze budget revenue projections and program expenses and maintain appropriate operating margins. (10%)
- Provide input on marketing materials and web-site. Refresh materials as needed. (10 %)
- Work collaboratively with appropriate departments and offices of the college to meet CE goals includes developing or actively participate in advisory committee meetings state, national, and local professional organizations related to subject area to meet CE goals. (5 %)
