Job Description :
Eastern Iowa Community Colleges are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Part-Time Instructor to serve as our resident OSHA Outreach Trainer. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver high-quality OSHA training programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and promoting workplace safety. In addition, at least once a quarter, this role will represent Eastern Iowa Community Colleges in National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (NPETE) related activities and events, fostering relationships with other educational institutions, industry, and government partners.
Work is based out of the Davenport, IA Quad Cities area, with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications :
- Certifications : Must hold or be willing to train to obtain current OSHA Outreach Trainer authorization for both the 10-hour and 30-hour General Industry and / or Construction courses.
- Commitment to Safety : A strong commitment to promoting workplace safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Education : Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience : Must have at least three years' successful related work experience in business, education, or related area.
- Customer Service : The ability to anticipate and proactively address customer needs.
- Communication : The ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Teamwork : The ability to work well with others to achieve a goal.
- Problem Solving : The ability to manage challenging situations at work productively and positively.

This job requires 20% travel across the U.S. to fulfill NPETE partnership obligations.
Salary :
49.25-$68.25 per hour.
