Job Summary:
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about pets and are ready to make a meaningful impact during our busiest times. This weekend role involves providing high-quality care for dogs, ensuring their safety, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. You will also assist at the front desk, handling client interactions and ensuring smooth operations. We know you love dogs, but this is a dirty job that is not for the faint-hearted. You will be picking up bodily fluids and cleaning up after the dogs.
Job Type: Part-time (Weekend Only)
Work Hours: Saturday and Sunday
- Morning Shift: 6 AM - 11 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 3 PM - 8 PM
- Candidates can apply for morning and afternoon shifts or just one of these shifts.
Hourly Pay: $11 - $13 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate outdoor exercise and bathroom breaks for dogs.
- Feed and administer medications to dogs.
- Maintain accurate records of each dog’s feeding, medication, and activity schedule.
- Perform extensive cleaning tasks to ensure a sanitary environment in kennels and common areas.
- Assist at the front desk, including checking pets in and out and helping send pets home during peak times.
- Engage with dogs by playing and conducting activities to ensure they are happy and active.
- Take pictures and videos of dogs to create report cards for pet parents.
- Upload and manage content for report cards using our CRM system.
- Provide exit baths for dogs as needed, ensuring they go home clean and comfortable.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Previous experience working with dogs is preferred but not required.
- Familiar with various dog breeds and their personalities.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
