Staff Accountant

Eastern Lift Truck Co., Inc. Staff Accountant Eastern Lift Truck Co., Inc. (ELTC) is seeking a Staff Accountant to be part of our Finance and Accounting team. This role is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a broad range of accounting and financial areas and will be excellent for a motivated individual seeking a company with opportunity for advancement.Main Duties:The Staff Accountant will have significant responsibilities across the full spectrum of accounting and finance including the following areas: Maintaining the general ledger structure for branch and corporate accounts Preparing journal entries Preparing general ledger reconciliations Managing daily banking and cash flow analysis Assisting in strategic projects Performing financial analysis Assisting the Controller with continuous improvement projects in the Accounting & Finance Dept. Handling special projects as assigned by Controller Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with GPA of 3.0 or higher Minimum 2-3 years of G/L and accounting experience preferred Excellent organizational skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail a must Must be extremely proficient in Excel Ability to learn and work with the accounting side of the Company's business management system Experience in the Material Handling or other mobile equipment industry a plus Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and prescription plan. 401k with partial company match, paid vacation and sick days, paid holidays, short- & long-term disability, and basic/supplemental life insurance policies.    Who is Eastern Lift Truck Co.? Eastern Lift Truck Co., is a family-owned company, celebrating over 50 years strong.
