Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Currently, we are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to support our Maple Shade, NJ location. We offer tremendous opportunity for growth, competitive compensation and benefits for individuals who want a career with a great company that maintains a family feel!
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for warehouse operations including scheduling, shipping / receiving, inventory control, housekeeping, and safety. Daily operations of a forklift are required. Daily use of Microsoft Outlook and Accounting Software is required.
Main Duties :
Work diligently to keep the shop organized, clean, safe and utilize warehouse space efficientlyKeep an accurate inventory of new and used materialAccurately and safely pull orders and bundle for shipmentComplete pick sheets (developed by sales coordinators) and packing slipsSchedule material pick up with our predetermined dedicated carries via email and phone confirmation with drivers and meet the expected pick - up times to meet expected delivery schedulesEnsure return excess project materials are delivered back to the shopSafely load material on flatbed trucks and hot shot pickup truck pulled flatbedsSafely transport material to dedicated storage areas and sort and manage inventory for an optimal first in first out scenarioMaintain new and used inventory lists to send to salespeople on a daily basis via email and in accounting software for billing purposesUtilizing company vehicles deliver small parts and pieces to customers and active job sitesRecommend stock replenishment for inventory and anticipated customers' ordersReplenish hardware and shop material, banding and boxes for hardwareMaintain, supply and recommend ordering of hardware (mainly anchors and lock mechanisms)Receive phone calls from sales personnel and discuss size condition and specification on available inventorySuggest best practices or blend of inventoryResponsible for all equipment shipped (if it has an odd measurement, off color, surface rust, scratches or is bent in anyway the salespeople need to know about it to inform the customer)Requirements :
Experience in a warehouse operationOrganizational skills a MUSTData entry experienceValid Driver's LicenseClean Driving RecordDependable and reliableExperience safely operating lift trucksStrong communication, interpersonal skillsAbility to follow procedures as well as take initiativeAbility to lift up to 75 poundsBenefits :
