We are seeking a board-certified Rheumatologist to take on the role of Medical Director for a reputable medical office. In this leadership role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure the highest quality of care, and lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in rheumatology, strong leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all clinical activities within the medical office.
- Ensure high-quality care across all rheumatology and related services, in line with the latest clinical guidelines.
- Mentor and provide leadership to the medical team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Work closely with administrative staff to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and quality control measures.
- Serve as the main liaison with external healthcare organizations, regulatory bodies, and insurance providers.
- Provide direct patient care, diagnosing and treating various rheumatologic conditions.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in rheumatology and incorporate new treatments and technologies where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Board-certified Rheumatologist with an active medical license in Florida.
- Experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
- Extensive clinical experience in rheumatology, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a medical office or hospital setting.
